Despite your warnings and risk aversion lectures I know a number of people that feel no issue with extending a loving hand to those in an open manner of trust. Second Life has changed greatly over the years in that now many do share their identity willingly and with pride. Regardless of this, whilst sipping tea are you oblivious to a sense of decency in that actual lives are at stake. Perhaps you are even in the law/legal field, who knows. I also think you are quite versed in the complexities of the law that comprise these agendas. I have no proverbial “horse in the game” but I shall say this that you clearly must know that you are treading dangerously in waters that even you have no clue. M’Dear, I have said before, that in your occupation (far be it for me to determine what one might call it by name) you have a line from which to cross that places not only those in question in harms way but you as well from a legal standpoint. I will add my paltry opinion to this conversation as it pertains to the entire context of what your work entails. In your mind is your avatar a RL person? If so it’s time to get some help. Have you reached the point where you can’t tell the difference between RL and SL. They are all SL avatars.Ĭonclusion: Some of you are crying bloody murder and threatening to log into your e-lawyers because someone accused your SL avatar of role-playing a pedophile and/or engaging in age-play role play. Though I do think gambling is an exception to this. Of course this is all contingent on both people being adults. It’s no more illegal than rape sims, beasty sims or any other thing ok in SL but illegal in RL. So if you are RPing a child predator and the other person is RPing a child victim, yes that’s some fucked up RP, but it’s not illegal. Clearly they are speaking of SL and not RL. The secret says SL pedophile and/or age player. I’ve taken a closer look at #6 because it’s causing a stir here and privately.ġ. As long as whats being said is not true and not a fabrication made by SL secret owners as is suggested.
I like SL secrets, I seen some bad things here but also some good come out of it for various people. If of course these are said people who wanted SL secrets down. At least it would allow him/ her the opportunity to explain themselves and why they wrote about Number 6.
I am not saying anyone should do anything, but I do feel the poster should come back and explain why they posted what they did. That and no real reasons on why the poster was upset. In some ways, I do feel maybe in hindsight, that should never have been posted as it was very salty and deliberately posted a few times in relation to the same people/group. From what was mooted, was a few on that list blame SL secrets for posting it in the first place and want SL secrets down because of it, that the whole thing was a set up against last weeks rumble in regard to the racist accusation in the pageant issues. My nephew was telling me about this and the people behind it, was quite interesting to hear his take on it.
